New York Wedding Photographer – Ulysses Photography Blog » artistic. unobtrusive. fashionable. fun.

Ulysses and I will be attending the Chateau Hathorn Bridal Show in Warwick, NY, this Sunday, 9/7/08, from 12:30-3:00pm. We’d love for you to join us!  If you haven’t yet been to the Chateau Hathorn, either for dinner, for one of their incredible wine tasting events, or to check it out for your upcoming wedding, you are seriously missing out.  The Chateau Hathorn is definitely one of our favorite places – there simply hasn’t been anything we’ve eaten there that we haven’t LOVED.  And the people couldn’t be friendlier!  The Zueger family runs the Chateau with warmth and total enthusiasm for what they do.

If you come on Sunday, you’ll have the opportunity to walk the beautiful grounds and enjoy the old world elegance of the building (they are a bed & breakfast, too!), sample hors d’oeuvres and wedding cake, and speak to several local vendors.  And of course, please visit us!  Ulysses and I will be there to chat and talk about your upcoming wedding.  We look forward to seeing you!

Sometimes it’s hard to believe, but Jenni and I are celebrating our 19th anniversary of marriage! We can honestly say that as the years have rolled by, we’ve come to appreciate one another ever more. And that appreciation has led to an even deeper love and devotion. The way we look at it, 19 years isn’t really so much time when what you really want to do is spend an eternity together. Still, we can offer the following little tips that have helped us:

  1. Give your marriage everything you’ve got. It’s worth every bit of the time and energy you put into your union.
  2. Make sure you show and tell one another OFTEN how much you love one another.
  3. A successful marriage requires two great forgivers.

Trust me, the few short & sweet points above will keep you working at it for years. Let us know how things are going for you!

For those waiting to see previews from recent weddings, many thanks for your patience. We’ll be back soon with lots to share. But today I’m going to spend a bit of time with my honey on our anniversary day.  🙂

Summertime, bows, lavender, and love – all of those things came together beautifully on Melissa & Bohdan’s special day. They had chosen the breathtaking view from the hilltop of The Eagle’s Nest to say their wedding vows to one another. It was easy to see how swept up in one another they were when they finally joined hands at the end of the ceremonial aisle. Another beautiful aspect of this day was the blending of two cultures – Latin and Ukranian – for a celebration of life and love with dancing, singing, warm camaraderie, and true family connections.

Melissa & Bo, we’ve had an excellent time with you both from day #1. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy this fantastic journey with you.

We will have a complete gallery of images for everyone to look at very soon in the “Client Proofs” section of our main website. For now, enjoy these previews, and keep your browsers on the lookout for the rest of the gallery. For friends and family scattered far and wide, please feel free to leave a comment by clicking on the “Comments” link at the top of this entry. I know the happy couple would love to hear from you.

What could be better than a wedding on the shore of the Long Island Sound? That’s exactly what Alex & Joe had in mind for their beautiful wedding day. And the weather did not disappoint. It was an absolutely picturesque day with the beach serving as a lovely backdrop for all their guests seated on the lawn. We found Alex getting the final touches of her makeup and ready to get into her designer wedding gown. She was positively breathtaking. Meanwhile, Joe was waiting downstairs with all of his groomsmen, and he couldn’t wait to get started. His mild nervousness added a fun energy to our portraits of him and his guys.

It was a true family affair, with Alex’s aunt officiating the ceremony. There were more than a few tears of happiness in the audience as everyone bore witness to their union. We were so happy for this beautiful couple.

Alex & Joe, thank you so much for choosing us as your photographers! We hope to see you and your family and friends again soon.

We have lots of photos to share with everyone. They’ll be available soon in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Enjoy these preview photos in the meantime!

  • Ulysses - No… unfortunately the lovable Norman didn’t show up at the wedding. 🙁

HOWEVER, he was seen a number of times in the awesome slideshow that the family had prepared for Alex & Joe and showed during the early part of the reception. He’s such a ham of a puppy. 🙂

It’s great hearing from you again, Jamee! Hope we get to see you real soon for your very own maternity and/or newborn session! Our very best wishes and congrats to you and Jeff!!!September 2, 2008 – 10:08 PM

  • Jamee Goldstein - A stunning bride, a handsome groom (no pooch?) and yet again phenomenal photos from Jenni and Ulysses! Alex, congratulations on your marriage, you and Joe definitely seemed to have a special day! We at Monroe Peds wish you both all the happiness in the world (and a safe trip home).September 1, 2008 – 9:07 PM

  • Ulysses - Alex & Joe!!! 😀

What a beautiful day you guys had! It was our privilege. I’m so glad to hear you love the two photos in the blog. We had an awesome time capturing the love, intensity, and fun of the day. I wanted to make sure you got a bit of art, too, as seen in the photos above. You’re both very special to us, and we were honored to have joined you.

Oh my goodness! I was thinking about you guys, with Gustavo and now Hana in the Caribbean vicinity! I’m amazed to hear about your great weather, and I hope it keeps up for the duration of your stay there in Anguilla!

Many hugs, and safe travels back to the East Coast.

P.S. — your friends were AWESOME! If any of them ever have a need, we’d love to photograph any of them someday. 🙂August 30, 2008 – 1:35 PM

  • Alex - Ulysses and Jenni!

Thanks for everything! These two are absolutely perfect, and we can’t wait to see the rest! I’ve been sending mass e-mails with your website info to family and friends….

Anguilla is absolutely stunning, and the weather is perfect. Who knows, Gustavo may elongate our stay!

We’re sorry, but our web server is experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment. We didn’t realize it for a the past day because we’ve been away for the weekend photographing a wedding. Unfortunately our hotel’s internet service was also down (what are the chances???), and our hands were tied.

We’re working with our technicians to resume normal service ASAP so you can enjoy the site and the galleries in the “Client Proofs” area.

Again, our most sincere apologies for the delay.

Please email Jenni with any questions about your galleries or print & album orders.

Jennifer and Chris laid their eyes on Nicholas for the first time this evening at 6:58 pm. Although he is nearly six weeks early, he’s still a healthy 6 lbs 1 oz, plump and pink, with nice strong lungs and a strong cry to let everyone know that he has definitely arrived. 🙂

It all happened surprisingly quickly once Jen’s water broke. We were incredibly privileged not only to spend the day with Jen & Chris, but to be allowed to stay in the delivery room with them during Nicholas’ birth. Big kudos have to go out to Dr. Atkinson, Pam the nurse, and the rest of the staff for their excellent care, humor, and kindness to everyone.

We’ll have more photos of him once we’ve had a chance to rest and shared them first with Jen & Chris. But for now, say “HELLO” to Nicholas. We’d love to see your comments here by clicking on the “Comments” link at the top of this entry.

  • Tania Gonzalez - I wish I was there to see him in person!!!
Miss you guys… HI ADAM!! Im sure your going to be a GREAT Big Bro!!! :>

Thank you!!!October 2, 2008 – 8:37 AM

January & Glenn were one of our favorite couples from 2007, and they’re perhaps even MORE exuberant today about their photos than they were back then. They sent this awesome note:

Hi Guys!

FIRST
I am so sorry we haven’t gotten to you sooner, but you know us, busy busy busy…as you said it best in the blog you wrote about us when posting our engagement photos on your site… “our lives are so busy and filled with activity”  (I actually printed it and saved it).

SECOND
Oh my God!! We are so enjoying our album!!! It came out perfect!!! As a matter of fact Glenn doesn’t want anyone even to touch it… LOL He wears the white gloves that were enclosed in the box whenever we take it out to look at it. Oh, and it must stay in its box…safe and sound… LOL

Everything was so nice, the album, mini album, the CD disc and the gloves are such a nice unexpected touch. We have never seen that before. We recommend you to everyone we encounter, not only for weddings, but anything, pregnancy photos, family, birthdays, etc… We know it is so worth it and we truly cant wait till we can see you again and have you do what you do so well… photograph! And of course for the 2ND best thing about you both… The pure pleasure of your company, conversation and insight on anything and everything!! There is no doubt in our minds that our most special day, our wedding day would have not been the same without you two… from planning our engagement photo session over a year ago to present, you both have been wonderful!!

Can you believe its almost our 1-year anniversary??? We are going to Aruba with our best friends who will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary (they got married October 17th, two days before us, nine years earlier). Hey, if you happen to be there at the same time, let me know!!! It would be a great place and time to photograph!!!! LOL

Please feel free to put this on your site. We want everyone to know just how special and talented both of you are! Talk to you soon.

All our love,
Glenn and January Bourke

January & Glenn, thank you so much!!! We were so proud and happy for you on your wedding day (and for your killer engagement photos, too!). There’s nothing quite like seeing it all come together in the way it did for you, and we were so glad to be invited to be a part of it.

See more with January & Glenn.

Marty could hardly wait to see his bride. They were so anxious to be together that they’d arranged to see one another before their ceremony, providing an excellent opportunity for romantic photos. When Rose walked out in her exquisitely elegant gown to see Marty for the first time that day, he was absolutely speechless as he wrapped his arms around her. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment for them and wanted to share a few photos from that session.

After the photo session, a number of family members arrived to greet the overjoyed couple. It was one of the most joyful reunions we’ve seen in some time. Many of the family on both Rose’s and Marty’s side were long-time friends of ours, so we felt as if we were greeting our own families, as well. It was an incredible day for everyone.

Rose & Marty, you are each truly blessed. Jenni and I are thrilled that you’ve found one another. We know you’re going to have the happiest lives possible. Thank you for choosing us as your photographers. We’re going to have plenty of photos to show you.

Enjoy the photos here as a little preview. And then look for the full gallery to go online soon in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website.

Coincidentally, their reception was in the exact same venue and room as our own wedding nearly 19 years ago! Talk about a blast from the past! 🙂August 15, 2008 – 10:56 PM

  • Jessica - how totally and utterly sweet. These make my heart melt in a great way….Congrats Rose + Marty!!August 15, 2008 – 1:23 PM

What a gorgeous day Trish and Noel had!! There was so much excitement in the air. We enjoyed everything about their beautiful wedding day, which had a uniquely Irish flavor. We were delighted by the sounds of Irish voices of children and adults, the bagpipes playing after their ceremony, the energetic dancing to old Irish folk songs, and the warm camaraderie of lots of family and friends visiting from Ireland to celebrate with them. We have no doubt the entire family will remember this day for years to come.

When we felt a few raindrops after the ceremony, we just knew that we were going to get incredible skies for their portrait session afterward. And sure enough, the sun came out through retreating storm clouds that made for incredibly dreamy, moody photos on the water at Davenport Park. The wedding party was great fun to shoot. And Trish was just beautiful to shoot (her deep green eyes are simply lovely for the camera). Noel’s sense of humor kept each of us laughing and smiling. We could not have asked for better on this August afternoon.

Trish and Noel, thank you so much for a day filled with such joy. Your complete confidence in us made this a total pleasure. And thank you for the wonderful meal as well.

The complete gallery of photos will be available soon in the “Client Proofs” section of our main website. Watch for it. Until then, please enjoy these previews, and leave a note here for the happy couple or for us!

  • Ulysses - Jess, thanks so much! I think that image is probably one of Jenni’s favorites. She wanted to capture it by hinting at the storm that was passing immediately over us. We couldn’t believe how fortunate we were for the rain to have skipped right over and around us, but leaving us with these really dramatic skies. We love it when we get those — they’re far and few between in NY. Just what the weatherman ordered! 🙂August 15, 2008 – 10:54 PM

  • Ulysses - Trish! It’s so good to hear from you again! For now, just take time to sit back and enjoy the photos. There’s a lot to drink in! We can’t wait to hear about what some of your favorites are. 🙂

    All our best to you and Noel.August 15, 2008 – 10:52 PM

Whitney & Greg are the bomb!!! Yes, exclamation points and all!

Coming all the way down from upper Vermont to meet us, we knew they were going to be excited about their e-session. We were just as pumped about it as they were. We knew immediately they had paid careful attention to some small tips we’d passed along to them beforehand for looking their best. Photographing Whitney & Greg was pure pleasure. She had a natural elegance and strength to her movements that was beautiful to see in the camera. Greg was rock-solid, too, as we allowed him to simply relax and be himself while this gorgeous woman simply adored him.

Whitney & Greg, you were each adorable! We had a wonderful time with you. We can’t wait to show your photos. We’re looking forward to joining you later this year for your wedding & reception at the Roger Sherman Inn.

We’ll have their entire gallery of photos available very soon, so keep on the lookout for it in the “Client Proofs” section of our main website.

It’s so funny. When I read your words, I actually HEAR Whitney’s voice in my head. You “sound” so similar. I do hope we get to meet soon.

As for that black & white photo, I specialize in shooting infrared photography. And with Whitney & Greg, it produces a BEAUTIFUL result. There will be several more of those to enjoy, as well. We’d love to hear back from you about some of your favorites.

    Spread the word about these guys! 🙂August 6, 2008 – 9:36 AM

However, if these three shots show off even just a a part of your photography skills, I can’t even imagine how spectacular the rest are! I love love love the black and white one! We couldn’t wait to get this blog entry up about Kimberly & Eric’s wedding. Their day was a veritable roller coaster ride of joy, anticipation, and a broad range of other emotions. Kimberly & Eric are quite simply perfect for one another. Surrounding themselves with friends who had nothing but their interests in mind, they had an unforgettable day.

Supply any number of adjectives – beautiful, gorgeous, ravishing, and more – Kimberly had them all covered. And Eric was right there with her, cutting a most handsome figure in his classic black tux and full-Windsor knot. When Kimberly walked down the aisle and saw him there at the end of it, you could tell that every other thought that might have been on her mind simply faded away. They were in a special place all their own at the outstanding Catlin Gardens. Following the ceremony, we were thrilled to spend some time with them walking through the beautiful gardens and creating some stunning portraits. (Click photo for a larger version.)

Kimberly & Eric, the space here is too small and the words are too few to tell you how much we’ve enjoyed photographing with you. This wedding was special for us not only because we got to spend time with you again, but also for the chance to see some past couples and friends again. No one was more excited to be there than Jenni and I. THANK YOU so much for just being yourselves and letting us “in” so that we could create for you.

We know you’re anxious to see some photos. We’ve prepared a brief teaser slideshow so you’ll have some idea of what’s in store later on. Click the “PLAY” button in the box below:

The gallery will be available in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website when they return from the honeymoon. Make sure to check it out. And then come back and leave a comment for us or for Kimberly & Eric! We’d each love to hear from you.

Lots more with Kimberly & Eric in the following entries:

  • Michael Shandro - Beautiful couple, beautiful setting, beautiful pictures, beautiful love.

What more can I say. It takes great photographers to be able to step back and capture the unique spirit of a couple so well and that is what you did for Kimberly and Eric.September 13, 2008 – 7:26 AM

  • AnnieCam II: Blasts From the Past at Ulysses Photography Blog - […] What a complete joy it is to photograph a wedding where we run into some of our former brides & grooms again, truly some of our favorite couples! It was exactly this kind of reunion at Kimberly & Eric’s wedding. […]September 9, 2008 – 2:06 PM

  • Jenni-Ulysses Photography - Hi Eric & Kimberly! 🙂

What a delight YOU TWO were to photograph (again!). Ulysses and I truly felt a little sad when it was over, so we’ll have to find another excuse to photograph you again in the future. Babies, perhaps? 😉 You are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. Thank you for the privilege of witnessing such an extraordinary event.

    Big hugs,
    Jenni & UlyssesAugust 16, 2008 – 7:22 AM

  • Eric & Kimberly - Eric and I have just returned from our honeymoon. What a delight it was to see these amazing photos. Thank you so much for your unbelievable work and for capturing our most special day so perfectly. We could not be happier! Only now, we have to chose!!! This will not be easy….Thank you so kindly for all that you have done and for being a part of the happiest day of our lives….

    Love,

    Eric and Kimberly (I LOVE IT!!)August 14, 2008 – 5:26 PM

  • Ulysses - Click this link, where Matty & Nicole actually left a reply for us.

Thanks so much, guys! We had a complete BLAST the entire day! There was a lot of dancing later in the evening. Kim & Eric’s friends definitely know how to enjoy themselves. 🙂August 6, 2008 – 10:11 PM

  • Ulysses - Jill, THANK YOU for the incredibly kind kudos! Can you tell how great a time we’ve had with these two? It was just an awesome day, and I’m glad you’re enjoying this little preview. Just WAIT until you see the rest. 🙂

I’ll also pass along another little secret. We’ve had numerous married couples tell us the same thing. We often get calls back after they see our photos of their friends and ask if we’ll shoot an “anniversary session” or some other fun & funky “passion session” with them. These are some of our favorites to do because the couple can be completely relaxed during the shoot, without any of the pressure of a wedding. Here’s one example:
    http://www.ulyssesphotography.com/gallery.php?skookslocation=Carol_Byron_wed

If the idea interests you, PLEASE give us a call. We’d love to talk about some options. 🙂

    More fun to come!August 6, 2008 – 12:39 PM

  • Jill D'Angelo - What an amazing job you did, the pictures were fantastic, nothing like I’ve ever seen. Where were you in 2002 for my wedding? 🙂 haha Wonderful job, Kimberly and Eric look gorgeous! It was a perfect day.August 6, 2008 – 12:26 PM

  • Ulysses - Jessica: Thanks so much! We wanted this slideshow teaser to give some idea of just how much fun this couple was, and to give a real sense of “them” on their gorgeous day. It’s always great to hear from you. Thanks for the note.

Stephanie: It was such a joy to see you and B. again! I know I’ve said it before, but you looked amazing as one of the bridal party. In fact, I remember when Kim told us a while back that “my bridal party is hot.” Well, she wasn’t at all lying. 🙂

We’ll have the rest of their photos available when they get back from the honeymoon. Lots of fun and photos coming soon!August 6, 2008 – 9:40 AM

  • Stephanie - What can I say… you’ve done it again. It’s perfection. Can’t wait to see the rest 🙂August 5, 2008 – 7:57 PM

Nicole & Matt’s wedding day had FINALLY arrived! We were really looking forward to this one because we had such a great and easy-going relationship with them from our very first phone call so many months ago. With a warm welcome from the entire family when we arrived, we couldn’t wait to begin taking photos. Nicole was positively breathtaking in her designer gown. Her little Long-hair Chihuahua agreed  and watched over every portion of the prep phase. I’ve never seen a tuxedo as small as his and just had to share a photo of how proud he looked. 🙂

The entire day was so enjoyable, with everything proceeding smoothly and with everyone in a great mood for a wedding. Perhaps our favorite period of the day was when we got to go off with Nicole & Matt for their own photo session. The area around their venue was particularly scenic and laid a perfect foundation for some exciting, fun, and romantic photos.

Nicole & Matt, from Day One you have each been so great. We feel the same exact sentiment as Nicole mentioned to us at the end of the night: “We’re going to miss you guys!” Your families were just as wonderful to spend time with, too. But the journey isn’t over just yet. We have so much to share with you and can’t wait to hear your feedback, as well as that of your families. Thank you so much for a great day, as well as for the delicious meal. We hope we get to see you all again sometime soon.

Their gallery will be available upon their return from the honeymoon. Feel free to leave a comment on this blog, as we always like to hear back from our readers.

Sometimes we have such a good time during our photo shoots that it’s better than watching a good comedy episode on television. That’s the way it was with Liz and Rob, who started their session with us with laughs and giggles. But during the course of our time with them, the giggles gave way to genuine romance, serious style, and killer photos. It was obvious that these two have a real passion for one another. Just fantastic.

Jenni and I are eagerly anticipating their autumn wedding at The Thayer Hotel at West Point. It’s easily one of the most scenic areas in the Hudson Valley, and we can’t wait to join them there.

Their gallery will be available shortly in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Look for it there, and then come back and leave a comment by clicking on the “Comments” link at the top of this entry! We love hearing from you.

Arianna is about 2 weeks old now, and Ulysses and I had some time with her this morning to take some photos.  She is just the most precious little girl.  Since you’ve all been reading about her from way before she was even born, we’ll just post a couple of photos here so you can enjoy them … 🙂

Her complete gallery will be available very soon in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Keep on the lookout for it!

More with Arianna and her parents:

One of our favorite areas to work and play in all of New York is the Westchester region. Some of the area’s most fabulous and creative professionals are found there. Each year Westchester Magazine throws a gala party so attendees can experience over 100 of the very “BEST” in Westchester County. This year’s event was simply spectacular. It was held at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY, with an expected attendance of around 3,000 individuals.

When everyone arrived by car or by shuttle, they were greeted by a red carpet entrance, which we photographed, and welcomed by “Jessica Simpson” look-alike Lynsey to enjoy themselves for the evening. When they entered the VIP tent and clubhouse there was plenty of food to sample from the finest restaurants, the most awesome bands and DJs to be heard in the area, relaxing massage treatments from the best Westchester spas, intriguing products from store owners, and the best services available from a variety of businesses. It was an event not to be missed, and we’re thankful to Westchester Magazine for inviting us to photograph it!

Head over to the “Client Proofs” section of our main website, where the entire gallery of “Best of Westchester Party 2008” photos are NOW AVAILABLE – maybe you’ll even find YOURSELF in those photos! Or visit Westchestermagazine.com, where they also have the party photos for your enjoyment.

Perhaps the most beautiful thing about Victoria & Steven is their way of molding any situation into an occasion for deeply meaningful memories. Whether it was a special moment spent taking smiling photos with her mother or a small reminder of her older brother carried close to her, Victoria was always thinking of others around her. Steven’s laid back but focused approach helped keep things running smoothly throughout the day, and he had a fun-filled time with each of his friends.

Victoria & Steven, your entire day was marked by the love of your families, both immediate and extended. We couldn’t help but have broad smiles and hearty laughs ourselves as we enjoyed ourselves with all of your guests. And your private photo session – AMAZING! We can’t wait to show you. We were so privileged to be given a front-row seat for this entire day’s experience. Thank you.

Their gallery of photos will be released upon their return from their honeymoon. Look for it in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Until then, enjoy this slideshow teaser for a brief look into their beautiful day. Just click the “PLAY” button. Feel free to leave a comment for this blog entry when you’re done. We’d love to hear from all of you again.

More fun during Victoria & Steven’s Engagement Session.

  • Ulysses - Victoria & Steven, we are SO glad you’re as happy with the photos as we are. Truly, the best thing a photographer could hope for is a bride and groom who emote as honestly as you and Steven did on your wedding day. There was plenty of emotion to be found wherever we looked, whether it was the completely entertaining antics of your younger brother or your dad’s dancing prowess (that last dance he had with you was SOOOO sweet!) And Steven had a serious “GQ Magazine” session with his buddies – too much fun! 🙂

The time devoted to your private photo session turned out some photos that are among our favorites for this year. We’re really proud of how well you guys did there. You look like old-fashion movie-stars, which was exactly our intent. We just love the honest passion of your photos and know you’ll enjoy them for a lifetime.

If you know any couples who are like yourselves, please send them our way! 🙂

Hugs and kisses right back at you guys from myself and Jenni.July 17, 2008 – 6:23 PM

Grace_w296art02Wow. Wow. Wow! Grace & Mike are back from their honeymoon in Tahiti. They sent to us these incredibly kind words:

Jenni and Ulysses,

What can we say? These pictures are gorgeous! We can’t wait to see the entire gallery. We just got back from our honeymoon (half an hour ago), and checking your blog was the first thing we wanted to do. We have checked at every hotel we stayed at in Tahiti, but weren’t able to see the the photos. We read the blog entry multiple times (in multiple locations), and it made our day each time we read it we were really touched by everything you wrote, and especially agreed with the hardest part being saying goodbye to you two. Throughout the honeymoon, we couldn’t help but think of you two whenever we took any pictures (and we took a lot!) especially when the cruise photographer told us to kiss for the camera, and we remembered to linger. We were depressed to be leaving Tahiti, but finally being able to see the pictures after 2 weeks of anticipation was the light at the end of our tunnel.

For both of us, your arrival at our doorsteps was exciting and reassuring as if we were greeting old friends. Throughout the entire day (and for days after), our parents and bridal party couldn’t stop raving about how great you two were and how much fun the pictures at the park were!

Although we’ve only met you a handful of times, it was obvious from the beginning that you’re both really special people. We hope that it won’t be too long before we have the chance to see you again!!

Love,
Grace and Mike

Welcome home, Grace & Mike! And thank you for such a memorable time with you. We can’t wait to hear from you again soon.

More with Grace + Mike.

  • Grace Meade - Hey Mike and Grace.

Mike, I am your cousin, Grace Meade. I am Tom’s niece. I hope to see u guys soon. The pics r sosososososo cute! Talk 2 u l8er.

    Love
Grace (hah! Grace we have the same name)August 25, 2008 – 7:37 PM

It’s not every day that we get to do an engagement session with two people that we’ve known and loved for a very long time (over 20 years), so today was extra special.

Rose was very fashionable in her stylish black dress, which was so flattering when it caught a mild breeze. Marty couldn’t keep his eyes off of her, which of course was exactly as it should be. They treat one another as a precious gift. Although this was probably the first time they’d ever had a photo session of this type, they each did a marvelous job showing us just how much they’re in love.

It’s going to be such a privilege to photograph their wedding next month. It’ll be a reunion of sorts for us, too, because their children are some of our longest and best friends. We can’t wait to be there with everyone. We’re so happy for this wonderful couple.

Their gallery will be posted online very soon and will be found in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Enjoy!
