Sheila and Roy had planned their wedding as a Grand event (with a capital ‘G’). From beginning of the day to its end, it turned out exactly as planned.

When we arrived at her apartment, Sheila was excited to see us and introduced us to everyone there. Being the cool and collected person that she is, everything was well under control as she and her sisters got prepared. Her hair stylist (Christopher Morris 551.655.5285) and makeup artist (Natalie DiStefano 856.952.5726) did a beautiful job. Sheila’s wedding gown was hand-finished, and her mother and father helped her fasten the final row of buttons on the back of her dress.

We arrived at the church only a few blocks down the road, where Roy was already waiting with his groomsmen. There were nice touches during the ceremony that included several of their family members, which made everything that much more heartfelt.

The reception was held in the Great Hall at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, NY. What an incredible venue and space for a reception! The high vaulted ceilings curved overhead, and the floor-to-ceiling Palladian windows reminded us of what a great feast must have looked like here in the early 1920s. We couldn’t have been happier with the way the staff there worked with us, and we’d love to shoot there again in the future. (Thanks, Sheila and Roy, for the incredible meal!)

Sheila and Roy’s online gallery will be available soon. Keep checking the “Client Proofs” section of our main site over the next few days, and we’ll have lots more pictures for you to enjoy. In the meantime, there is another picture in the “Tell Others” section of our site, which you can attach to a message to your friends as you excitedly wait for the rest of their photos. As always, feel free to comment here on the blog with your thoughts about their wedding day.

When we first met Terri and Brian, their excitement about their wedding was positively infectious. We knew we would love working with them. After getting hair and makeup done at the Water’s Edge Salon, Terri joined us at Round Hill to get dressed and see her groom for the first time. She had me positively squealing when she showed me her incredible Kate Spade shoes, complete with sparkling dragonflies (Ulysses was equally impressed). I have to show you a picture here. Aren’t they gorgeous? (click the image to see a larger version) Although there weren’t many leaves left, we were able to do create beautiful portraits with Terri and Brian outside at Round Hill before heading to the church.

There was an amazing amount of work put into every detail of this wedding, including a personalized runner with their monogram, gorgeous flowers by Flowers by David Anthony in beautiful vases found by the bride, tiny apples accenting the tables, even a personalized sash on the bouquet. All those details, combined with the warm friendliness we were shown, made this wedding a delight to photograph.

Their online proof gallery is now available in our “Client Proofs” section. There is also a photo from their wedding in “Tell Others” that can be used to e-mail others. Please also feel free to comment here – we’d love to hear from you!

  • Ulysses - Thanks so much, Cory Ann! They were really excited about the sparklers that they’d planned for their grand exit from the church. It added a fantastically festive feeling and a sparkling segue to their reception at Round Hill! 🙂November 19, 2005 – 1:11 AM

  • Cory Ann - I love, love, love this second image. That is amazing!

Ulysses and I had the opportunity to go to a photography seminar this week given by the incredible Joe Buissink. Joe photographs weddings all over the world, including many celebrity weddings, and is a fabulous teacher and friend. We came back home inspired and eager for the next wedding.

While we were there, we met up with many photographers we’ve known, as well as made new friends. We were able to see the latest albums at the trade show while there. We were also treated to wonderful food all day long courtesy of Bezalel Gables Catering. It was truly fabulous and the staff was very friendly, so if you’re looking for a location for your wedding, or a New York caterer, check them out.

We love attending seminars like this, which keep our photography fresh and up-to-date, and remind us that what we do as photographers is such a tremendous privilege. Thanks to all of our brides, past/present/future, for allowing us to be a part of your lives in this way.

Here’s a picture that Jenni took of me while on a recent photo shoot. My cheesy smile while working probably says it all (just click on the picture to see the smile even larger!). All of our couples who meet us can tell instantly that we absolutely love what we do. There’s no question about it. When we get to meet a new couple who are hopelessly in love and can help them bring their inner joy to their photographic session, then we know we have a wonderful thing going with them. The results are unforced and genuine.

It all begins with establishing a good relationship with our clients, and continues when we have the opportunity to invest in time spent with them both during their engagement sessions AND on their wedding day.

If you want the best possible pictures of yourselves, make sure that you allow time for yourselves on your wedding day. It’s so often forgotten during the planning stages. And we’d never want for your pictures to be short-changed without some fun and romantic portrait time built into your schedule. Ask us about helping to plan your timeline for your wedding day so that you can get the most out of your valuable photographic time with us.

  • Peter Prior - Hi U and Jenni,

just catching up with your Blog after being away “over there” in Wisconsin for 3 weeks.

Glad to see you guys are busy……..you deserve it and the work looks as good as ever!!

BTW that smile is not “cheesy” its “infectious”!!!

    Regards,

    PeterNovember 22, 2005 – 12:27 PM

Effervescent! The word means to show high spirits and animation. That word fits Jamee and Jeff right down to every letter. They’d both been looking forward to this session for months, as we’d wanted to make sure to get some of the autumn colors. We were not disappointed by the weather.

We took a stroll outside in the 68-degree weather. Jamee and Jeff entertained us with some of their ultra-cool dance moves while Jenni and I continued to snap away. Though the park that was chosen was full of people, we easily found quiet spots to get away for some romance and fun; and there were times when we continued shooting even when there was a little bit of a crowd around. These two didn’t care because they were a private little crowd of two people with eyes only for one another. 🙂

As is our custom, we’ve provided a slideshow preview (PC only) so that you can enjoy some of the pictures from their fun and loving photo shoot. There is also a picture in the “Tell Others” section of our main website that you can enjoy sharing with friends and family. Their complete online gallery will be available shortly in the “Client Proofs” section of our site. If you’ve enjoyed these pictures, feel free to drop a comment here in our blog!

More with Jamee + Jeff.

We had such an enjoyable time with Stephanie and Brian, just walking around and enjoying the remaining autumn leaves at a local park. They are obviously in love, and so excited about their upcoming winter wedding, only five months away now. We really look forward to it, too.

While Ulysses is hard at work preparing their proof gallery, here is a slideshow preview for you to enjoy.

There is also a photo available from their session in the ‘Tell Others’ section of our website that can be used to e-mail anyone who might enjoy seeing their photos and blog entry. Their full proof gallery from the engagement session will be available shortly in ‘Client Proofs’.

Erica and Dom had exactly the kind of wedding day they were hoping for … happy and relaxed, and full of friends and family. They had beautiful clear skies and the remaining soft muted colors of autumn as a backdrop for their lovely wedding at the Eagle’s Nest in Bloomingburg, NY. Erica and Dom like to be original, so we knew there would be a lot to enjoy. For starters, Erica wore a burgundy dress. They also had two sets of weddings rings … a traditional set, and a black titanium set that was really unique. Their beautiful cake was also chocolate – inside and out. The chocolate scent was incredible every time I walked past it.

Erica and Dom had their very nontraditional ceremony inside to keep warm, but the beautiful valley was visible through the large windows all around. There was tons of food, from lobster to vegetarian dishes, all wonderfully prepared by the staff at the Eagle’s Nest. We always enjoy working there. : )

Erica and Dom, we could see that you just adore each other, and we know you will be very happy together. We really appreciate the privilege of being part of your special day.

While the proofs are being processed, please enjoy this slideshow preview. The entire proof gallery will be available shortly in the Client Proofs section of our website. There is also a photo from the wedding now available in the Tell Others section, which can be e-mailed as a notecard to your friends. Enjoy!

We got together with Jenneen and Gregory for their engagement session on a brisk October day, but they were bundled up well, and we kept them real close to each other to keep warm. : )

We had a great time exploring a beautiful mansion in Middletown, New York, which was the perfect backdrop for a romantic session. Jenneen and Gregory are both scientists for a living, and there was an obvious chemistry between them. We’re really looking forward to their December wedding at Reid Hall, located on the campus Manhattanville College in Westchester, and reception at the V.I.P. Country Club in New Rochelle.

Their entire proof gallery is now available in the “Client Proofs” section of our website, and be sure to check “Tell Others” for a photo that can be e-mailed to friends and family.

One word is all it takes: Incredible! But I’m not going to stop there, because there’s simply so much else to say about Vivian and John, their gracious family and friends, and their beautiful wedding.

Vivian started her day in the spa at The Garrison, a resort located on the Hudson River in Garrison, New York. With bright airy rooms and beautiful views of the Hudson River seated in the changing autumn colors, the scene was set for an impossibly romantic wedding day. We were excited to see Vivian, as she sat in the hair salon where her stylist prepared her with a vintage 1920s hairstyle that suited her sense of style and elegance just perfectly. Her look was completed with a silken gown which was overlayed with a beautifully detailed lace top portion that formed its own train at her feet. She looked simply stunning. John came to meet her in the bridal suite, where we were able to capture some of the most lovely pictures of them alone together during the day.

We marveled at the richness of their shared Italian culture, as we heard young and old around us speaking Italian, greeting one another with warm hugs and kisses, and even treating Jenni and myself as if we’d known them all for years as family. What a privilege it was to spend the day with them all.

A highlight of the day came after Vivian and John’s first dance. Vivian’s father had passed away years earlier. To keep his memory alive at their wedding, a brief slideshow was seen on a large screen while Vivian and her mother danced together to the music and vocals of the group, A Touch of Jazz, as they played Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable”. I do not believe there was a single dry eye in The Garrison as we watched this touching presentation.

The marvelous staff of The Garrison served some of the most delightful meals we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying: Roasted striped bass with grainy mustard sauce, and then an amazing plated dessert designed by John especially for the wedding. Since both Vivian and John are chefs with a keen eye for creativity and art, it was no surprise that the meals were as delicious to look at as they were to taste (thank you to Vivian and John, and to the staff of The Garrison — we could not have enjoyed ourselves more). The flowers by Artfool were breathtaking – some of our favorite ever.

The skies were overcast for most of the afternoon. But one of the highlights of our day with Vivian and John was when the clouds opened up to reveal a spectacularly golden sunset. As they basked in the rays of the sun, it warmed our hearts to hear Vivian say about our portrait sessions together, “I’m really going to miss this.” We’re going to miss photographing them, too.

As everyone said their tearful goodbyes to the couple, we were reminded of how precious it is to have in your life a soul-mate with whom you can share your loves, joys, and dreams. Our wish for Vivian and John is that their love and enriched lives continue to inspire all who know them. We know they have done so for us. We love you guys!

Their online gallery will be available soon in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. Until they are available, however, please enjoy this slideshow preview containing a few romantic moments from their day.

Also, we would love to hear from you if you attended Vivian and John’s wedding or saw these pictures. Feel free to post a comment by clicking on the Comment icon at the end of this weblog entry. We want this shared experience to continue with your help! Thanks!

When we first met Kalan and Mike, we immediately clicked with them, and we knew we would have a wonderful time as their wedding photographers.

The big event took place at the beautiful Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York. This Victorian castle surrounded by breathtaking, endless views of the mountains and beautiful Lake Mohonk sets an amazing scene for a storybook wedding.

Even after seeing each other privately beforehand, Kalan’s emotion during the ceremony took her by surprise. Mike and Kalan’s deep love for each other was obvious to all, and they enjoyed every moment of their special day together with their friends and family.

The food at Mohonk was fabulous. Even though we’ve eaten there many times, they never cease to amaze us. The staff at Mohonk were a pleasure to work with. We also have to give our highest recommendation to the DJ, Frank at Boss Systems. He loves his job as much as we love ours. We really enjoyed his relaxed friendliness and professionalism, and would love to work with him again.

Kalan and Mike, thank you so much for treating us as your guests! We had a wonderful time, from beginning to end.

Click here to enjoy a slideshow preview of the wedding proofs. The entire proof gallery should be available some time this week in the “Client Proofs” section of our website.

UPDATE: There is now a slideshow preview of a few of our favorite images from their wedding day (PC only). The complete wedding gallery should be available in time for Melissa and Vincenzo’s return from their honeymoon. In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow along with the story below! Feel free to share the link and leave comments for their friends and family.

Melissa and Vinny are simply perfect for one another. We were actually photographing another wedding last winter near their homes, when we got to meet them for the first time. They felt like instant friends to us. And they were so enthused not only about our photography, but also about their wedding at Fordham University Church (also known as Old St. John’s Church) and the prospect of having literally hundreds of their family present to celebrate with them. We couldn’t wait either.

When we walked into the University Church, saw its vaulted ceilings, its tall stain-glassed windows, and the sculpted stations lining the walls leading from the main doors to the altar, we knew that this was going to be a special event. Once all the guests were there, the ceremony began with the stirring call of a trumpet and melodious organ accompaniment from the rear of the church. The wedding party marched down the long aisle, followed by a beautifully radiant Melissa as she was escorted arm in arm by both her father and her uncle. Vincenzo had a smile on his face as he nervously bit his lower lip and watched his bride approach. It was truly an incredible event to watch.

After photographing the family and party formals, we spent some time with the couple taking a few romantic portraits. They were ushered into a Rolls Royce that took them to the fabulous Marina Del Rey, located on the Long Island Sound. With the large windows showing off two of New York’s most popular bridges and the NYC skyline behind them, it was an affair not to be forgotten. The multi-course meal was equally as memorable (our thanks to Melissa and Vincenzo, as well as to the exceptional wait staff of the Marina Del Rey).

The music and entertainment was served up with intensity, variety, and a true Italian flare by DJ Serg Entertainment. The grand finale of the evening was a marvelous eight-table Viennese hour with desserts and sweets of every possible variety.

If you’ve enjoyed these pictures, another great way to share in their photographic experience is to go to our Main website, and click on “Tell Others” in the side menu. There you will find another photo of Melissa and Vincenzo, which we would be happy for you to share with your friends and family. Enjoy!

Monica was such a happy bride despite a forecast of heavy rain and flooding – she said she was from Oregon, where they get even more rain, and it never dampened her spirits. We started the day at the Pineapple Day Spa, for some fun photos of Monica and all her girls as they prepared for the big day. After that, we headed to Monica’s father’s beautiful home, where she and her groom got to see one another for the first time after Monica slipped into her beautiful gown.

Both Monica and Peter’s families worked extremely hard to make this a perfect day for them. Monica’s father did all the cooking – including a prime rib dinner! The excitement of the entire family, and the obvious love and affection between Monica and Peter, made for a beautiful day and lots of wonderful photos. The entire wedding gallery should be available on Monday, 10/10/05.

  • Jenni - The photos were released on 10/12. Please go to our main website, and click on “client proofs.” Thank you, and enjoy! : )October 12, 2005 – 3:25 PM

Sarah and Jake came all the way out from Chicago to Saratoga Springs, NY, because of the beauty of the area and the memories they’d created there. We’re so glad they chose Ulysses Photography for their wedding!

Situated along the stately Avenue of Pines, the Hall of Springs banquet facility truly reminds one of a grand era of luxury and style. One of the most impressive features of this incredible hall is its 30-foot marble columns that stand around the perimeter of the dining area. The crystal chandeliers and crystal sconces lend a touch of elegance. Well-placed lighting added an almost surreal quality to the columns and mood of the evening. The result was simply stunning.

Another feature that caught everyone’s attention was a custom monogram that had been created specifically for this gala event. The monogram was projected from an elevated spotlight onto the center of the dance floor of the hall. When it was time to dance, the monogram in light was moved to another location where it could still be enjoyed.

Sarah is an event planner, and did an amazing job planning every detail of her own wedding to perfection. Her friend Jill Moran, a Certified Special Events Professional with offices in New York and Boston, worked tirelessly and did a meticulous job in overseeing the weekend so Sarah could just enjoy being a bride.

The excellent meal was provided by Glen Sanders Catering. With choices ranging from lobster to veal, there were almost too many selections to choose. Our most sincere thanks go out to Sarah and Jake, as well as the incredible staff of Glen Sanders Catering for making sure we partook.

The ceremony took place after sunset on the lawn between the reflection pool and the Hall of Springs. As the shadows of the hall got longer and the blue sky grew darker, a spotlight was turned on to give focus to the loving couple as they stood underneath the chuppah. With incredible flower arrangements provided by Susan Adam, owner of Adam’s Garden of Eden, Sarah and Jake could not have had a better florist. Her work speaks for itself.

We’ve arranged this early preview slideshow (PC only), a look at a private interlude where Jake got to see his bride for the first time before their ceremony. This provided some intimate moments that we could not have captured any other way. The deep love and passion of their relationship was obvious. The complete gallery of photographs will soon be available in the “Client Proofs” area of our site.

  • Cassandra Steitzer - Hello,

My fiance, John Dibble, and I were wondering what your availability and pricing were for our June 28th 2009 wedding at the Canfield Casino ~ Congress Park, in Saratoga Springs, NY. Thank you and happy New Year!!

    Cassie and John~January 2, 2009 – 2:14 PM

  • Andy Williams - Just beautiful. This brought back some wonderful memories, as I too, got married in Saratoga Springs – and then lived there for eight years. Ours was in the Canfield Casino, which I highly recommend as a venue. It’s in Congress Park.

Ulysses, the blog is a wonderful way to engage potential clients, very well done and tasteful, too. Congrats again on some very fine work.October 31, 2005 – 10:22 AM

  • Anonymous - This blog sums up our wedding in a way I couldn’t have even described. Thank you to both of you for creating incredible momentos from our wedding. We are very, very satisfied with our photos and can’t wait to complete our album and start ordering reprints.October 27, 2005 – 8:06 PM

We got some fantastic family news a couple of months ago: My brother, Eric, and his wife, Chrissy, are expecting their second child! We can’t tell you how exciting this was to hear. Their first son, Malakai (nicknamed Kai), is full of energy, and he loves people just the same as his parents. At three years old, he’s got some serious personality. Eric and Chrissy wouldn’t want it any other way.

When we visited them at their Massachusetts home, Chrissy asked if we could spend some time on the beach to get some shots of their family, as well as a maternity shoot. We absolutely could NOT resist this opportunity. And what a spectacular day it was! We met them at the beautiful Good Harbor Beach in MA after having first spent some time with two INCREDIBLE couples for their engagement sessions (see our entries for Lauren and Justin, and for Meghan and Lou). So you can probably appreciate how pumped we were for this sunset session. With an intensely blue sky and calm ocean waters, we couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Quite simply, all we needed was one word to describe Chrissy when we saw her there on the beach: Radiant! And she was in love with her family.

We changed things up during our time there, taking pictures of little Kai by himself when he wasn’t watching, photographing the entire family when the scene seemed right, and we also spent some time with the couple by themselves for an occasional romantic interlude while Kai was busy digging holes in the sand. It was a real treat for each of us. There’s nothing quite like the beauty and closeness of a family waiting for their child to arrive. We captured some beautiful images.

If you’d like to see more pictures from our session, make sure to click this link to see a slideshow (PC only). Enjoy!

Though this was our first time meeting them in person, it felt as if we’d known Lauren and Justin for a much longer time. After spending a little while talking and getting to know one another better, we set out for the beach for some incredible picture-taking opportunities. It didn’t take long at all for these two to cuddle up to one another and just be themselves even though they had two cameras pointing at them.

We walked out to the beach, where the intensely blue sky was reflected in the calm and gentle waves of the ocean for a very romantic backdrop. Both Lauren and Justin have been interested in physical fitness. So to our delight, they entertained us with Justin helping Lauren do a back-flip! It was awesome!

It was great seeing the passion and trust they had in one another, but also their excitement about photography and the trust they placed in us to capture beautiful images. We had a fantastic time with them and are eager to photograph their wedding next summer at Giorgio’s on the North Shore of Long Island.

Their complete online gallery will go up on 9/27/05. Click this link to enjoy their preview slideshow to get a sneak peak at their upcoming engagement pictures. Enjoy!

  • mommak98@hotmail.com - Absolutely exquisite!! I have tears in my eyes as I type this message. The love shines through these photographs and Dad and I are so very happy that you two have found each other. We look forward to the many years of happiness our families will share! We love you both dearly. XXX OOO MOM and DADSeptember 27, 2005 – 3:01 PM

While in Massachusetts visiting some family over this early autumn weekend, we had a chance to take what must have been one of the most pleasant days of the year and spend it with some wonderful couples. Meghan and Lou were one of those couples.

These two extremely pleasant medical students had just finished some exams only the day before. Happily, their only required extra credit was to serve as our models for the day. Whether it was the ocean or the beach grass or the sand or a simple ice-cold Snapple machine serving as their backdrop (hey, we had to try it!), the session was all about the two of them first, and the scenery second. Meghan and Lou had an easy-going familiarity that made them a real pleasure to photograph. Meghan has this natural beauty both inside and out. And Lou is a gentle rock. Together, they are a wonderful couple.

As we just got back from our trip to Massachusetts, I’m providing this early slideshow preview while you wait for their complete engagement gallery to go online (most likely sometime on 9/27/05). Enjoy!

What can we say about Amy and Doug’s wedding? From the time we first met them, it was obvious that Amy and Doug were the best of friends. Their wedding was an extension of their feelings for one another. From start to finish, it was an absolute privilege to be there with them and their families. Amy spent the better part of her morning preparing with her seven bridesmaids, while Doug lounged by the pool with his 13 groomsmen (that’s right — 13 of them!!). The forecast was for rain, but to everyone’s surprise, the cloudy day opened up for a lovely outdoor ceremony. They were probably each surprised at the outpouring of emotion they both experienced during their beautiful ceremony.

Their wedding and reception were held at the elaborate but very tasteful Belvedere Mansion. This 18th century venue perfectly suited their warm, friendly, fun and dignified personalities. Our high compliments must also go out to the Belvedere staff. They were very helpful in making the day successful for photography. When we explained Amy and Doug’s desire for us to take our meals a little earlier than they were accustomed to serving for vendors (so that we wouldn’t miss a beat in photographing important events), they immediately accommodated us. A very sincere thanks to Amy and Doug, as well as to the staff there at the Belvedere. It was a real joy to work there, to walk their fields near the pond, and to take in both the indoor and outdoor beauty of this gorgeous estate.

As is our custom, we have some early preview images for you in the form of a slideshow (PC only). Amy and Doug’s complete gallery should be available on 9/25/05.

  • Erin Crazy Bridesmaid Extraordinaire - Ulysses & Jenni, on behalf of the bridal party I want to thank you for being such an integral party of Amy and Doug’s wedding. You were considerate and good humored throughout the entire day and by your preview alone I know you captured exactly what they wanted. Even the blog you wrote shows the amazing job you both do to make each and every couples wedding day special. Thank you!September 21, 2005 – 8:27 PM

The results have just been released from the Summer 2005 contest for the Wedding Photojournalist Association, of which Ulysses and I are members. We were excited to see that two of Ulysses photos from this summer have placed in the top 10 of their categories! I will list them here so you can see them. The first was in the Creative Portrait category. It was a photograph taken using infrared photography at a wedding right on the Hudson River at Mills Mansion in Staatsburg, New York.

The second image was from a really fun wedding at the Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey. The bride and groom went outside for some beach air, and lit up some sparklers. Of course, we kept shooting, and this photograph by Ulysses placed in the Reception category.

To see Ulysses’ other winning photographs, please go to the WPJA and then click on the big gold W to the left of Ulysses’ name.

Thanks again goes out to all our brides and grooms, who allow us to share in one of the most special days of their lives and fulfill our own passion for making beautiful images.

  • Chenin Boutwell - Congrats on the wins! You both are so awesome! Can’t wait to see you in April!October 4, 2005 – 12:28 PM

We got to know Andrea and Mark not only through our phone conversations and engagement session with them, but also through her excellent wedding website (you’re amazing, Andrea!) They had a relaxed week leading up to their wedding. Even though they’d traveled up to New York from North Carolina, it seemed that everything flowed incredibly smoothly for them. The minor problem of Andrea’s needing to get a replacement veil on the morning of the wedding didn’t seem to phase her in the least. After spending the afternoon taking some pictures — including some soft infrared photos — with just the two of them at her father’s home in the quiet town of Tuxedo, NY, the rest of the party and family joined us on the deck in the back of the house, which Andrea’s father had worked to decorate and get in order just for this special day. The girls in the party “vogued” for us (you did a fantastic job, ladies!); and the guys put on their coolest presentation for everyone’s enjoyment.

Jenni and I could tell, as we drove from Tuxedo to the scenic location of the Chalet on the Hudson, that the light of the setting sun coming over the Hudson River into the suite for their wedding was going to be a warm and romantic sight for the eyes. We weren’t disappointed. What a gorgeous spot at this time of year! The entire staff of the Chalet was also very accommodating (thanks so much for the fantastic meal, Andrea and Mark!).

The wedding party was a complete blast, too! I have to say, I have NEVER heard my name shouted so often and with such glee (that’s right, I said “glee”) at a wedding reception. Thanks for making us feel like a real part of the group, guys. 🙂

Their online gallery will be available shortly. While we work hard to get those pictures ready, have an early look at their day via this slideshow preview of Andrea and Mark’s wedding.

UPDATE 9-12-05: Andrea and Mark’s gallery is available EARLY! Go to our main website, and then the “Client Proofing” area to see their gallery in the lineup. Enjoy!

  • Andrea - LOVE IT! Mark and I are beyond thrilled right now, so I’m probably going to spontaneously combust when the rest of the photos are made available! THANK YOU!September 12, 2005 – 12:32 PM

We mentioned a few days ago that changes were coming. And we’ve only recently finished the major portions of those changes. It was a lot of work — much more than I’d at first thought would be needed. But we’re so pleased with the results, and we hope that you are, too.

You’ll note a number of new features that come along with the site:

  • first and foremost, a better way to see some samples of our images in both the Wedding and the Engagement galleries
  • some insight into our style of photography and why we love what we do
  • easy access to this very blog that you’re reading, one of the latest and best ways to get to know us and hear about the things that excite us about wedding photography
  • read about what a few others are saying in our behalf
  • access to the Client Proofing area, where you can see your own online gallery
  • NEW!!! The “Tell Others” feature gives our clients the opportunity to send a picture to your friends and to tell them about how over-the-top happy you are about your photographers! You may even find one of your own pictures in there to make a nice personalized e-card to your family and friends
  • check out some basic information about the albums we offer
  • and of course, you have the means to contact us and get more information about our services

We’re incredibly excited about these latest improvements to our site because it says more about who we are than our previous website. And we feel that’s important to you, our brides & grooms, so we can get on the road to making beautiful pictures together. We want to hear from you. So check out the new look of our site, Ulysses Photography. And leave a comment to us in this blog, or email us. We’d love to know what you think about the latest changes.

The new website is gorgeous! It showcases your work beautifully. We had a great time with you guys Friday. Looking forward to seeing our pictures 🙂
