We’ve been so excited for Laura + Chris that their wedding day couldn’t come soon enough! And now that the day has flown by, we can’t say often enough just how thankful we are to know them and to have photographed this chapter of their lives. We can’t wait for the next!! Dear Ulysses & Jenni,
Wow! It has been a wonderful journey and a long time coming! It all started when I got to meet you two at Jennie & Kevin’s Wedding. My respect for you two and your talented work grew as I saw you again at Katie & Chris’ Wedding, and then for Katie & Steve’s. By then a frienship had grown. Even when I was single, I knew that if the day would come that I’d get married, I already knew who my photographers would be…I even joked with Ulysses on facebook, that all I needed was to meet the guy! And then it happened…I met Chris smile emoticon
As soon as I showed Chris your website and awesome photos displaying how talented you are, he couldn’t agree with me more about having you two as our photographers. Not only did we think highly of your talent, but it was the sense of comfortableness that you both gave me personally. I am definitely the type of person that “critiques” herself, especially in photos. I use to look at wedding pictures and think how beautiful these brides were and how I thought I’d feel so awkward in front of the camera. Given our history, knowing I would have you guys photograph me made me feel easier.
When Chris and I met with you for our engagement shoot, it was so natural! We had a great time…and you guys made us both feel comfortable. We loved our photos from that shoot and it gave me confidence in myself! I remembered looking at some of the pictures and thinking…wow, I look beautiful! I felt like I was looking at someone else.
Aside from taking amazing photos, you were there for us throughout the whole wedding planning process! Lord knows how many times I emailed Jenni and kept switching up the timeline! But, she kept reminding me that she was here for us in whatever we needed…and she was, every step of the way! I truly felt amazing on our Wedding Day, and I have the two of you to thank for that. Chris and I love looking through the pictures and getting to “re-live” that whole day. The moments that you captured were so real..from laughing, to crying, being silly, and just living in the moment. I’ve had so many people tell me that on my Wedding Day, I looked the happiest they have ever seen me. I was even told that while on the altar, I kept bouncing and moving like an excited kid! Lol…that’s pretty much how I felt! And I have your photos to remind me forever.
