Tammy + Mark’s wedding at the NYIT de Seversky Mansion was truly special, filled not only with genuine emotion, but also incredibly rich with tradition. We were delighted to see them begin their day by seeing one another privately for Tammy’s bridal reveal. She was simply gorgeous, and Mark was clearly amazed. They were an adorable pair. After a Western style ceremony, Tammy changed into a beautiful hanbok and Mark changed into a robe & headdress for the paebaek ceremony. They looked like Asian royalty as they knelt before their parents at a table filled with a variety of food and rice wine. The paebaek concluded in style as Mark gave Tammy a piggyback ride around the entire ballroom as their guests laughed, clapped and wished them well. It was a truly memorable event. Another bonus for us was spending time with Evelyn + Michael once more. It’s a real honor to have been chosen by Tammy + Mark as photographers for their wedding!
Edited to add: By the way, I’m not absolutely certain, but I think in the final photo of this sample gallery, I may have captured a comet just above and to the left of the mansion. So excited about that! 🙂
