Ulysses - Steph, it was so wonderful to meet you and the rest of your beautiful family. Jenni and I enjoyed being around all of you from the start of our time there to the finish. It was an amazing day, and you each helped make it so much fun for us.

Ulysses - Norman, THANK YOU for your acknowledgment about that outdoors photo. I think everyone was wondering if it was worth it to go out there. It was still just a bit misty. But because I was so enthused about going out there for the unusual light, it all worked out. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the party was about to begin! So we were out and back inside in no time at all. Still, I’m so glad we did this. The one at the top of the blog is Jenni’s photo, if memory serves correctly.
We love stormy weather. You can’t get clouds like this without them. You’ll find stormy backdrops all over our site if you look around enough. 🙂

Ulysses - Thank you so much for the kind words, Andre! It really was an INCREDIBLE evening. And we absolutely loved hanging with Zooey & Willie and their friends. It was such a privilege to be there.
At some point, I’m going to write about the jazz jam session, which simply deserves its own entry as it was so over-the-top cool to see Willie, his dad, his niece, and his close friends all playing together for everyone’s enjoyment. I love jazz and live music, so this was a real highlight for me.
