Jennifer and Jason were so much fun, and their Skylands Manor wedding was incredibly beautiful. It’s one of our favorite places to photograph for its wonderfully lush and extensive grounds.
Jennifer’s dress was positively amazing! It was custom-made for her, included two colors, with a 20-foot detachable train. The rose bouquets from Morningside Greenhouse in NJ were fragrant and beautiful. Trumpeteers greeted the guests, and then the processional down the long green lawn of the castle began to the sounds of the Empyreal Strings Quartet. It was a beautiful ceremony, sealed with a romantic kiss as Jason dipped his bride. Doves were then released, and the reception followed.
The wedding party all entered the castle with masks and boas to kick off the celebration, with music by their band Ariel, who kept everyone on the floor. The food by Frungillo Caterers was exceptional (we had the Beef Wellington – yum!). At the end of the evening, we stole away with Jenn and Jason for a romantic fashion shoot in the dark hallways of the castle. What an incredible day!
