If you haven’t heard from us much lately, it’s because we’ve been busy traveling the East Coast! We spent about a week in Florida, first visiting my family. It was nice to be together, and we spent a fun day at Epcot Center before heading down to Miami. There we attended a photography seminar by two good friends who are two of the top photographers in the world: Yervant from Australia, and Joe Buissink from L.A. They are amazing photographers and gifted teachers, and we were thoroughly inspired by their imagery and their love for photography. Ulysses and I even had an impromptu photo shoot by Yervant – here is a photo of him shooting Ulysses.
We had a great time in Miami – we loved the culture, the architecture, and the people. We found a great Uruguayan-Argentinian restaurant where the locals go, and the food was incredible. On the last day of our trip, Ulysses and I headed to the Miami Beach area and just walked and walked, enjoying the 78 degree air and the wonderful surroundings. We would love to go back and spend more time – it’s a great vacation spot. We came back refreshed and inspired, and eager to get back to work.
