While we usually avoided the major tourist traps in Paris, how could we resist spending at least a little time at the Eiffel Tower? We walked across the bridge that leads from the Trocodéro to the Eiffel Tower. Once we got there, it was only then that we appreciated how truly massive this structure really is. Though it is made of steel and covered in thousands of bulbs to light it up at night, it is undeniably beautiful even in broad daylight.
Swept up in the joy of being there near the Tower, we couldn’t help but get closer for this movie poster-like photo. I love the almost “epic” feel of it, another story captured in a single moment.

Jamee and Jeff - An excellent example of “leaning in close.” Your future brides and grooms should study the natural physical and emotional closeness you two emote in this photo.February 24, 2007 – 9:49 PM

Ulysses - We love the framing in this one. There’s actually a lot going on in this photo that isn’t immediately apparent. For example, behind Jenni’s shoulder is the top of a merry-go-round, which was filled with parents and their children who were watching this entire photo shoot. It was really funny to finish, turn around, and see all of these people watching and having as much fun as we were. 🙂February 20, 2007 – 9:42 AM
Jessica Johnston - ohhh this is my favorite one so far.February 19, 2007 – 11:51 PM
