A Wedding at Roger Sherman Inn

Whitney’s emotive joy put a positively electric charge into the autumn air when we arrived at her mom’s home for her wedding prep. Her bridesmaids were all friends from early childhood, and their excitement at seeing her in her gorgeous gown was undeniable.

Following their song-filled ceremony, we shared some precious time with just the two of them for their photo session. The green grass in front of the inn was covered with red, orange and yellow maple leaves serving as the perfect backdrop for some amazing fall photos. We were awed by the color palette of yet another beautifully golden sunset, which gave us yet more unique opportunities for photographing this timelessly romantic couple.

Whitney & Greg, we cannot tell you how glad we are that you found us, quite by chance while we were photographing another wedding in the Hudson Valley area. We are so happy you did! The way you show your devotion to one another in your photos is only a reflection of what we’ve seen in you even when not in front of our cameras. Thank you so much for the honor of spending time with you on your wedding day. And a heartfelt thanks for the delicious meal!

Ulysses - Hi there, Barbara!! It was so great to get to finally meet you as well as Abby! What a CUTIE she is!! You’ll be glad to know we have several photos of her throughout the day, so make sure you look for those once the gallery becomes available. :)

I think the next best thing to photographing such a fantastic couple like Whitney & Greg is when their family and friends are every bit as awesome and fun as the couple themselves. That was definitely the case here. I do hope we get to see you guys again sometime in the future.

And YES, we’ll travel pretty much anywhere a client will help us to go. So if you ever a need on some really special occasion, do not hesitate to call us. We love to travel!

Barbara Wade - WOW….what great photos! I can’t wait to see the rest of them! As a bridesmaid (the one with the little girl at the reception), I was lucky enough to see Whit get ready for the big day and I’m glad to see the pics captured her natural beauty as well as the gorgeous dress – and the stunning combination the two made!!!! And what a hubba hubba the hubs looks in a tux – ha! We’ll be stalking (um, I mean checking) your webpage for the rest of the pics when they get posted!
