He&#8217;s growing so fast. We spent an amazing afternoon on the beach with him and his parents, Jonathan + Lauren. The day was made even more special because Jon&#8217;s parents joined them for some fun in the sand and ocean waves. Lauren graciously wrote some of the family&#8217;s thoughts on the meaning of this day and the photos:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><em>What do you get when you combine four people who don\u2019t like being photographed and one who likes being photographed just a little too much? When you work with Ulysses + Jenni, you get pictures you\u2019ll cherish for the rest of your life!\u00a0<\/em><\/span><em style=\"color: #800000\">We\u2019ve been huge fans of their work since meeting them at a wedding a few years ago, and were absolutely thrilled with the results of an earlier family session.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><em>As an exceptionally close family, we felt it was really important to capture photos of our 6-year-old son, Sam, with his grandparents at the place they love most \u2013 the beach. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><em> Ulysses + Jenni were the perfect couple for the job; in addition to being phenomenal photographers, we knew they understand the \u2018zen of Sam.\u2019 In our first family session, they encouraged us to let him lead the way, explore what was interesting and just have fun, and the results were spectacular! Initially, Mom, Dad, Noma and Opa may have wanted to fade into the background, but the end result captured so many special moments \u2013 moments that go by in a flash (no pun intended!) \u2013 that really demonstrated the love we all feel for each other (as well as the love Sam feels for the \u201chypnotizing\u201d and \u201cso beautiful&#8221; Jenni!).
