Here are a few tips about decorating the aisle that may prove helpful:
First, consider blocking off the sides of the aisle with tulle or something similar, as you see done to the right. Besides looking beautiful, this will ensure that you have a clear aisle to walk down, rather than people jumping into the aisle to shoot pictures of you as you walk.
Second, if you are getting married outside, rather than a paper runner, try a rose-petal runner. The paper runners get messy-looking as people walk on them, are trip hazards, and are difficult to keep in place.
And if you’re going to use the rose petals, be sure to ask your florist for LOTS of petals. You want them thick, as you see here on the right. It makes for a beautiful and romantic carpet to walk down, and as you can see, will look fabulous in your pictures. It’s a little thing that can make a big difference.
