We often enjoy sending out a card or note to someone celebrating their wedding anniversary, but we’re not at all accustomed to receiving a card FROM someone for the same reason. That probably tells you a lot about the kind of people Laura + Chris are. They put such thought and heart into everything they do, and this particularly kind note is no exception.

Jenni & Ulysses, on our first wedding anniversary, Christopher and I spent time reflecting on last year and all of the elements which made July 17th so very special. With this reflection came memories of you both, and we felt compelled to say “thank you” once again for capturing our wedding in such a remarkable way. May all the beauty you bring to others through your work come back to you tenfold.

Do you ever get tired of hearing how wonderful you are??  If so, I apologize in advance for fluffing your ego even more with this email….

I no longer have enough fingers or toes left to count the number of people who have called, emailed, texted, or literally stopped me face to face to tell me how amazing the wedding was and how absolutely stunning our photos are.  People have gone so far as to say that they are the most incredible images they have ever seen.  To each and everyone of these friends and family, I have done nothing but smile, cry and praise your names.  Your work has filled our hearts with so much joy and Chris & I are honored to be able to carry these amazing photographs, and the memories they evoke, with us for the rest of our lives.

We have been perusing and discussing the images nonstop and will likely be calling upon your expertise to help us create the best storybook possible. We have so much confidence in you both and your work has done nothing but illustrate to us that you are our best resource.

Laura & Chris have so much love to give one another, and those strong feelings of devotion are what gave the entire day its emotive signature. We had a wonderful time photographing this stunning bride and her attentive groom because they asked for beautifully different locations for shooting, and they were brave enough to take a few chances. They made a strong effort to carve out time during the busy day to ensure they had a relaxed photo session together. But more than anything, seeing how close they were with one another, and with their friends and family, ensured that we had ample opportunity to show off those feelings in photos. Laura & Chris, thanks so much for your willingness to climb mountains and “risk arrest” for the sake of great photos!
