The perfection of Amber & Matthew’s wedding day was threatened by a NY heat wave and thunderstorms, but neither of these could lessen their infectious energy, emotion, and excitement over saying their marriage vows before all their family and friends. Amber was savoring each and every moment of their whirlwind day with her bridesmaids. We were delighted by her hot pink shoes and her earrings of vivid pink crystals. Meanwhile, Matt and his guys were getting themselves ready in a nearby room, with Matt helping each of his buddies put together the finishing touches on their tuxes before receiving several warm embraces from overjoyed family members. Amber & Matt, your devotion to one another and to your families is such a strength to you both, and we are incredibly thankful to have been a part of your day.

We really enjoy when we can go back with a couple to the very spot where they got engaged, which is exactly what we did with Amber & Matt. A meaningful location + a romantic couple + gorgeous blue skies and a warm setting Sun for amazing light were the perfect combination for this photo session. We can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at the beautiful Catlin Gardens this summer!
