Brooke + Dylan’s Onteora Mountain House Wedding

Brooke + Dylan’s day started out with the threat of rain, which caused a little bit of anxiety. But when the time came to actually make the call for indoors or outdoors for the ceremony, Brooke’s instinct was on the same page with Dylan’s — OUTDOORS! Even though there were some light sprinkles at the time of the decision, we were so proud and happy to hear this (our readers know we love couples who simply GO FOR IT!) And wouldn’t you know it — once the ceremony started, the clouds parted, and we even saw rays of warm, welcoming sunshine peeking through the clouds. It was as if we’d special-ordered it just for them and their photos! We couldn’t have been happier for this awesome couple.

Kind Words From Laura + Chris

We often enjoy sending out a card or note to someone celebrating their wedding anniversary, but we’re not at all accustomed to receiving a card FROM someone for the same reason. That probably tells you a lot about the kind of people Laura + Chris are. They put such thought and heart into everything they do, and this particularly kind note is no exception.

Jenni & Ulysses, on our first wedding anniversary, Christopher and I spent time reflecting on last year and all of the elements which made July 17th so very special. With this reflection came memories of you both, and we felt compelled to say “thank you” once again for capturing our wedding in such a remarkable way. The thrill of having others recognize the beauty and passion in your work never gets old. We’re so excited to see Style Me Pretty take notice of the fabulous photos from Marcia + Mike‘s wedding day. The day was a special combination of so many things we love to see in a wedding day — lots of personal details, a sense of chic styling, along with a couple that remains natural and true to themselves while leaving us room for plenty of fun and creativity. Iris + Nick’s Wedding at Glen Island Harbour Club

While the anticipation was running high for Iris + Nick’s wedding day, neither of them felt under pressure at all from the normal stresses of a wedding day. Iris and her girls were each very excited to spend the morning getting hair and makeup done. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony at the beautiful Glen Island Harbour Club, with its breathtaking view of the harbor. Guests had come from far and wide, even as far away as China! Following a party that kept the party crowd on the dance floor, we enjoyed some time with Iris + Nick alone by the water for some of the most romantic portraits of the day. We’re so glad to have been able to spend time with this awesome couple again!

Jessica + Ashlin’s Woodstock Wedding

When an actress and a playwright decide it’s time to wed, you know it’s going to be a story that will be remembered for a very, very long time to come. Each of them were excited and yet laid back at the same time. This was completely fitting because the ceremony took place in the heart of the very laid back but hip town of Woodstock, where love, peace, and friendship were definitely in the air. We couldn’t have been happier on this September day than to have joined this amazing and talented duo. We not only got to spend quality time with each of them separately and as a couple, but we also got to celebrate our own anniversary on this day with a little table for two at Onteora Mountain House, our very favorite Catskill venue. Their signature drink was a cool Dark ‘N Stormy, which helped refresh everyone during the humid but festive cocktail hour. We’re thrilled to have been a part of such a storybook day. We couldn’t have scripted it better ourselves!

Kind Words From Kelly + Chris

The only thing that makes our hearts glow more than seeing a couples photos finished in a beautiful album is receiving a note expressing how much they enjoyed the experience with us. Kelly + Chris are two of our absolute favorites, not only because they are among New York’s finest members of the NYPD, but also because they’re refreshingly trusting people. Amanda + Will’s Beach Engagement

Although it was our first time meeting them face to face, it felt as if we’d known Amanda + William for quite some time. Meeting at the beach gave us a chance to watch a glorious sunset, followed by an equally majestic view of a thunderstorm headed out to sea. As we lazily walked along the shore, we were able to produce some beautiful images for them. A perfect evening. We can’t wait to photograph their winter wedding at Fox Hollow!

Baby Gemma’s Newborn Photos!

Julie + Greg’s Onteora Mountain House Wedding

Julie + Greg blew us away! They’re a pair of genuine rockstars (no.. really… Julie performed with her rock band at her own wedding!). They thought of so many little ways to queue everyone in on the things they love and what this all-important day was all about. Even though we saw details galore, prepared with thought and handmade with obvious love and attention, things never looked or felt frantic or crammed in at the last minute. But all of those things pale in comparison to the overwhelming joy, high-octane energy, and loving consideration that Julie + Greg brought for one another. Their expression of their feelings, not only in their heartfelt vows, but also in their surprise song performances for one another, spoke volumes to everyone about their intense devotion. After a joyous final song, everyone was treated to a farewell table of homemade beer with Julie + Greg’s own custom label, a perfect way to end a spectacular day! We’re so glad to have been there to photograph this amazing day for them.

Ulysses - Mary, the pleasure and the privilege was entirely ours. From the moment we arrived there at Onteora, we knew the experience was going to be an extraordinary one not only for us, but for each and every person in attendance that day. Victoria + John’s Wedding at Glen Island Harbour Club

Victoria + John’s wedding day finally arrived! You couldn’t have asked for a more excited household than hers as everyone helped her prepare for this most important of all days! Once her gorgeous gown and accessories were on, there was a collective “ohhhh” as everyone took in just how stunning she looked. Meanwhile, John was just as excited and ready to officially take their relationship to the next level, with his best man by his side keeping him laughing and as relaxed as possible. Next thing you know, it was time to get married! The day literally flew by, with all of their friends and family eager to celebrate and dance the night away with this awesome couple. We also enjoyed seeing a number of familiar faces there, Nikki + Jared being among them (in fact, they referred Victoria + John to us). It was a truly joyous day to be a part of, and for so many reasons!

Katherine + Kevin’s Wedding at Catlin Gardens

Katherine + Kevin… Kat + Kev… no matter how their names are said, everyone knows you’re talking about two of the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. Their wedding day was a true family affair, with Kat’s dad ready and waiting to greet us. We found Kat upstairs and filled with eager anticipation. We couldn’t wait to get her prepped and ready so she could make her way not even 1 mile down the street, where Kevin would be waiting for her at the altar. Kevin was at least equally as ready, spending just a few moments of private time in a quiet room to gather his thoughts before the start of the wedding. From that point on, the day was non-stop laughs, smiles, and celebration! We couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple. It was such an honor to be a part of their day.
